Description

Paprika, whose scientific name is ‘Capsicum Annum’, is a plant variety belonging to the family class known as the nightshade (Solanaceae). It is made by drying fresh hot pepper and turning it into flakes. It is mostly produced in Gaziantep and Kahramanmaraş. Red chili pepper strengthens the heart and nervous system. It is used in the treatment of cold and flu. It is used in soups, cooking sauces and especially in meat dishes to give bitterness and taste.
